Naif Arab University for Security Sciences “NAUSS” In its Capacity as
participated in the 38th Coordination Meeting of the Scientific Body
the Arab Interior Ministers Council “AIMC”, which of the AIMC, NAUSS
took place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Participates in the
Tunis. The meeting was chaired by the Secretary-
General of the Council and attended by the heads of 38th Coordination
communication divisions of the member states, as
well as directors of specialized Arab bureaus. Meeting of AIMC
Bodies
During the meeting, several significant topics
were deliberated upon, encompassing proposals
from diverse Council bodies and their collaborative
and coordinated relationships. A comprehensive
review was conducted on the activities of the
Criminal Pursuit Legal Committee for the year 2023,
along with an examination of a guide outlining the
functions of AIMC bodies. Furthermore, the meeting
focused on the agenda items slated for discussion
at the 91st session of the International Criminal
Police Organization (INTERPOL). In light of these
discussions, valuable recommendations were put
forth to strengthen cooperation and coordination
among the various Council bodies, while also
enhancing their operational mechanisms to bolster
joint Arab security endeavors.
